At Alexandra Middle School, our Jayhawk is more than just a mascot or a costume—it represents who we are and who we strive to be.

The Jayhawk is an ideal: a reminder of the values we want every AMS student to embrace each day—Courage, Integrity, and Respect.

Courage means standing up for what is right, facing challenges, and having the confidence to be yourself.

Integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, taking responsibility for your choices, and being honest.

Respect means treating yourself and others with kindness, valuing differences, and helping create a school community where everyone belongs.
